McRae Art Studios- Candidate information for available studio space

McRae Art Studios consists of 23 studios located in a renovated 10,000-square-foot industrial building west of downtown Orlando. Studio sizes and costs vary based on availability.

The building has ample space for private studios for working artists, large areas for classes, workshops, exhibitions, and rental for meetings and special functions.

McRae is happily co-located with ArtReach, a youth arts program providing arts education to vulnerable children.

McRae Studio Artists are productive visual artists working in many different media. Many of our studio members regularly win top awards in competitions and art festivals and are featured in group and solo exhibitions, museums, and galleries in Florida and beyond.

If you are interested in Applying:

We offer annual leases that begin on April 1 and expire on March 30 of each year. If any studios come available, we post on our website in early March. We then collect applications and jury new candidates for a move-in date of April 1.

We admit new members through a juried selection process, ensuring high artistic quality and diversity with artists in various stages in their careers. Our members vote on candidates after reviewing their bio, artist statement, artwork samples, or website.
